Cornell injured in car crash

Details are sketchy so far about a Monday morning car accident near Green Bay, Wis., that involved Bob Cornell, a former owner of the WHL’s Brandon Wheat Kings. Cornell is believed to have been driving the car, which contained three other people. It’s not known whether there were other injuries. Cornell is in the intensive care unit of a Green Bay hospital. . . . Cornell, who lives in Brandon, had been in Green Bay where he took in Sunday’s NFL game in which the Packers beat the San Diego Chargers. . . . Cornell has long been one of the best golfer's in the Brandon area.
