Bad News Bruins
The Chilliwack Bruins will be without D Dylan Chapman, 20, for up to six weeks. He broke a hand blocking a shot in Friday’s 5-4 overtime victory over the host Vancouver Giants. . . . And the Bruins have lost RW Ryan Howse for up to six weeks with what is believed to be a broken collarbone. Howse, the second overall pick in the 2006 bantam draft, was the victim of an open-ice check from Kamloops D Keaton Ellerby in the early stages of the visiting Blazers’ 4-2 victory on Saturday night.
