The sale of the Kamloops Blazers is signed, sealed, done, finis. . . . The paperwork was completed and the deal closed Thursday at 4 p.m. Pacific time. . . . The Kamloops Blazers Hockey Club Ltd., which purchased the franchise from the non-profit Kamloops Blazers Sports Society, is owned by Vancouver businessman Tom Gaglardi and ex-Blazers players Shane Doan, Jarome Iginla, Mark Recchi and Darryl Sydor. . . . Gaglardi was in attendance Friday as the Blazers entertained the Kelowna Rockets.
