In the night’s lone game, in Edmonton, D Juraj Valach scored two goals and set up another as the Regina Pats doubled the Oil Kings, 6-3. . . . The Pats (20-12-0-1) had lost their last two games, the most-recent one, 5-2 to the visiting Brandon Wheat Kings on Tuesday, resulting in a visit by GM Brent Parker to the dressing room. . . . F Robin Figren (wrist) was back in Edmonton’s lineup after missing four games. He’ll play for Swedeen at the World Junior Championship. He had a goal, his 13th, and an assist. . . . The Oil Kings (11-16-2-3) have lost three straight and 10 of 12. . . . Regina C Tim Kraus, who had one assist, hasn’t scored in 15 games. . . . Valach has five goals this season. . . . D Matt Delahey’s first goal this season — and his second in 94 games — proved to be the winner. It came with 6:12 left in the third period and broke a 3-3 tie. . . .
