Cougars make move . . .
The Prince George Cougars released F Morgan MacLean, 19, on Thursday due to what the Prince George Citizen is calling “off-ice issues.” His rights reverted to the AJHL’s Grande Prairie Storm and head coach Mike Vandekamp. The former Cougars coach then sent MacLean to the BCHL’s Prince George Spruce Kings for future considerations. MacLean, in fact, played for the Spruce Kings on Thursday night and had three points through two periods against the Merritt Centennials. . . . MacLean had 11 points and 38 penalty minutes in 34 games with the Cougars. . . .
