Sorry. No Saturday roundup. Inclement health got in the way. . . . The big news for Sunday will be the Tri-City Herald releasing its Best of the West poll. You’ll be able to check it out right here first thing in the morning. . . .
A COUPLE OF NOTES: When Edmonton’s Dalyn Flette blanked host Blazers 4-0 on Friday night, he became the second goaltender to post a shutout for and against Kamloops. Last season, while with the Blazers, Flette beat the Portland Winter Hawks, 8-0. The other goaltender to do that? Dustin Butler. He blanked Kamloops twice while with Portland and then, last season, set the Kamloops single-season franchise record for most shutouts (7). . . . The Seattle Thunderbirds have lost freshman C Charles Wells, who turned 17 on Jan. 4, for the remainder of the season. He is to undergo surgery on a knee that he injured Feb. 9. . . .
