The verdicts are in . . . with more to come

The WHL office is working overtime this weekend and already has lowered the boom following Friday night’s fun and games. Let’s start with the little stuff and then we’ll get to Saskatoon and Regina . . .
1.
Calgary C Chase Schaber drew a one-game suspension for a charging major and game misconduct against visiting Edmonton on Friday night.
2.
Edmonton assistant coach Rocky Thompson got touched for $500 for the game misconduct he took late in Friday’s game.
3.
Moose Jaw LW Frazer McLaren got one of those TBD suspensions after taking a boarding major and game misconduct in Swift Current on Friday.
4.
Regina head coach Curtis Hunt got a TBD suspension for the Pats’ fifth line brawl of the season on Friday against visiting Saskatoon.
5.
The Pats drew a TBD fine for said line brawl.
6.
The Pats were fined $250 because the goaltenders fought in that game.
7.
Regina was fined $500 for what the league is calling “unsustained request for supplemental discipline” from that game.
8.
Saskatoon GM/head coach Lorne Molleken drew a TBD suspension for his club’s fifth line brawl this season.
9.
Saskatoon drew a TBD fine for being involved in its fifth line brawl.
10. Saskatoon was fined $250 for the battling goaltenders.

Don't forget the rematch when the Pats and Blades meet for the last time this season. It goes Saturday, Feb. 23, in Saskatoon.
