The Red Deer Rebels have added former captain Bryce Thoma to their coaching staff. Thoma will work under head coach Jesse Wallin and alongside assistant coach Dallas Gaume and goaltending coach Andy Nowicki. Thomas, who spent four seasons playing with the Rebels and was on the team that won the 2001 Memorial Cup, spent last season playing in Great Britain. . . . The Rebels are holding a prospects camp this weekend so Thoma will be pressed into duty right away.
