Quinn's the man

It appears that Pat Quinn will once again be standing behind the bench for Team Canada.

According to a report in the Hamilton Spectator, the former Toronto Maple Leafs head coach will be named as the head coach of Canada's national junior hockey team for the upcoming world junior championship, held in Ottawa.

Quinn has twice been head coach for Canada's Olympic hockey team, winning a gold medal in 2002 and finishing out of the medals in 2006. Most recently, Quinn coached Canada's under-18 team to a gold medal at last year's world championship. Quinn has also won a silver medal at the 2006 Spengler Cup.

Quinn will replace Benoit Groulx, who recently signed on to be head coach of the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.
