The Saga of Schenn continues. . . .

Poor Luke Schenn. It appears that he never is going to get to ride in the Kelowna Rockets' new bus. Only chartered flights for him. . . . If you read this story by Tim Wharnsby of The Globe and Mail it is quite obvious that the Toronto Maple Leafs are positioning themselves to keep Schenn, the defenceman who was their first pick in the 2008 NHL draft. They are on the verge of signing him -- he has to be signed if he is to open the season with them on Thursday -- and Ian White, a Swift Current Broncos grad, has been moved from defence to forward.
