they erased a 3-0 third-period deficit and went on to beat the host
Chilliwack Bruins 5-4 in OT. . . . F Parker Stanfield won that one with his
10th goal of the season in the first minute of extra time. . . . Prince
George is two points behind the Blazers in the Western Conference. . . . LW
Dana Tyrell, the team captain, and C Brett Connolly, the super rookie, make
this team go. Tyrell leads the Cougars in goals (17), assists (15) and
points (32). Connolly, the 10th pick in the 2007 bantam draft, has 27
points, including 13 goals, in 24 games. . . . The Cougars are 3-11-0-0 on
the road. . . . F Marcus Watson, 19, was released Tuesday and is expected to
join the BCHL’s Langley Chiefs. He was pointless in six games after missing
