More from Monday

The Regina Pats have dealt G Jeff Bosch, 18, to the Moose Jaw Warriors for C Neal Prokop, 18. Yes, the two teams with perhaps the WHL’s most-heated rivalry got together on a deal. Prokop will be Regina’s lineup Wednesday against the visiting Calgary Hitmen, while the Warriors play Wednesday at home against the Everett Silvertips. . . . Bosch, the 41st pick in the 2005 bantam draft, was in his second season with Regina. He was 2-5-0-2 with a 3.89 GAA and a .880 save percentage this season. . . . Prokop, the fifth overall pick in the 2005 draft, was in his third season with the Warriors. He had six points in 14 games with the Warriors this season. . . . This leaves Regina with veteran Linden Rowat and freshman Damien Ketlo as its goaltenders.

C C.J. Stretch of the Kamloops Blazers is the Boston Pizza WHL player of the week. The 19-year-old from Irvine, Calif., had nine points, eight of them assists, in four games as the Blazers went 2-1-0-1. He has a six-game point streak going, with nine points over that, uhh, stretch. . . . The WHL nominee as the ADT CHL goaltender of the week is Tyson Sexsmith of the Vancouver Giants. He blanked the Cougars 5-0 in Prince George on Friday to set a WHL career record for shutouts (22). Sexsmith, 19, from Priddis, Alta., was a third-round pick by the San Jose Sharks in the NHL’s 2007 draft.

The Blazers have acquired LW Brett Lyon, 17, from the Vancouver Giants and immediately signed him to a WHL contract. The Blazers gave up a sixth-round pick in the 2010 bantam draft for Lyon, who is from Grand Forks, B.C. Lyon, who is expected to join the Blazers in time to practise Wednesday, has six points and 47 penalty minutes in 19 games with the BCHL’s Westside Warriors this season. . . . This is the third trade this season between the Bonner brothers – Scott is the Giants’ general manager, while Craig runs the Blazers.
