Saturday . . .

It is less than three hours until the clock strikes midnight for the WHL's mad scientists (aka general managers).
It is 11:33 a.m. Pacific time as I begin to write this.
There were three small deals on Friday, each of them involving GM/head coach Dean Chynoweth and his Swift Current Broncos.
Nothing has been done today; at least, nothing that has yet been released.
The Broncos and Kelowna Rockets are putting the finishing touches on a deal that will have a goaltender (Mark Guggenberger) head for the Okanagan. It is interesting that today is Guggenberger's 20th birthday.
Other than that, however, it is quiet. Too quiet.
It is almost as though the trade deadline was Thursday afternoon.
