Bus crash

A bus carrying the AHL’s Albany River Rats, an affiliate of the NHL’s Carolina Hurricanes, has crashed and there have been serious but non-life threatening injuries. The story is here. . . . The River Rats’ roster includes two WHL grads, defencemen Benn Olson (Kamloops-Seattle, 2004-08) and Brett Carson (Moose Jaw-Calgary, 2001-05). Early reports indicate neither was injured.
