JUST NOTES: The Chilliwack Bruins have added Derek Fallon, 15, to their roster. He was a sixth-round pick in the 2008 WHL bantam draft. You’re wondering if he is related to former WHL star Pat Falloon? “We farm together during the summer in Foxwarren, Man.,” Derek told Eric J. Welsh of the Chilliwack Progress. “I go to my grandfather’s farm in Russell and work during harvest season, driving the combine. We spend the days talking about hockey and crops and stuff.” . . . Welsh wrote: “Derek calls him Uncle Pat, though technically he’s a second cousin on dad Neil’s side.” . . . Derek had 30 points in 43 games with the Parkland Rangers of the Manitoba midget AAA league. . . . The Saskatoon Blades are still without backup G Adam Morrison (shoulder). He is scheduled for an MRI today (Friday). . . . Saskatoon D Teigan Zahn (hand) isn’t likely to play before the playoffs begin. . . . The Prince Albert Raiders, who are scrapping with the Edmonton Oil Kings for the Eastern Conference’s last playoff spot, won’t get F Dustin Cameron, a 33-goal man, back before the playoffs. . . . Veteran LW Travis Dunstall might return to the Medicine Hat Tigers’ lineup tonight when they play the Pats in Regina. He has missed three games with an illness that at one time he thought might be mononucleosis. . . . F Tristan King (concussion) is back with the Tigers after spending some time at home in Elk River, Minn. He hasn’t played since Feb. 10 and isn’t yet ready to return. He hopes to be ready when the playoffs arrive. . . . LW Tyler Maxwell of the Everett Silvertips is skating for the first time since Feb. 8 when he suffered a cracked kneecap. He isn’t likely to play this weekend, though. . . . Everett C Paul Van de Velde (shoulder) could play this weekend for the first time since Feb. 11.
