Tuesday . . .

The Prince George Cougars have placed F Tyler Halliday, 20, on waivers as they get down to the maximum of three 20-year-old players. Halliday, who had 25 points in 66 games last season, had seven points in 19 games this time around. . . . The Cougars had been carrying four 20-year-olds, with the return of D Garrett Thiessen from a shoulder injury. They had until Nov. 24 to get down to three but chose not to go right to the deadline. . . . Their other 20-year-olds are D Dallas Jackson and F Alex Rodgers. . . . The Kelowna Rockets will play a doubleheader in Prince George this weekend and the Cougars hope to have F Brett Connolly back in the lineup.
