You may have heard that the Medicine Hat Tigers and the Hurricanes danced in Lethbridge on Friday night. If you haven’t seen it, the video -- including the battling goaltenders -- is right here. . . . Cha-ching! . . . There weren’t believed to have been any fans leave the building, either.

Cha-ching! The tab for the Medicine Hat at Lethbridge fandango ran to $1,250. The Hurricanes got dinged $500 because this was their second line brawl and $250 because the goaltenders fought. The Tigers were fined $250 for their first line brawl and $250 for the battling goaltenders.

In Kennewick, Wash., the Spokane Chiefs scored two third-period goals on a five-minute PP and beat the host Tri-City Americans, 5-4. . . . The loss prevented the Americans from clinching first place in the Western Conference and the U.S. Division. The Chiefs meet Everett on Sunday with the Silvertips needing one point to clinch first place. . . . The victory means Spokane finishes fourth and has home-ice advantage in a first-round series with the Portland Winterhawks. . . . The Chiefs turned a 3-2 lead into a 5-2 lead by scoring twice after Tri-City D Tyler Schmidt was hit with a major penalty for clipping at 7:17. . . . Spokane F Anthony Bardaro, with his fifth goal at 8:52, and F Kenton Miller, with his 12th at 10:38, had the late PP goals. . . . The Americans then got two PP goals, from F Neal Prokop and F Adam Hughesman, at 17:43 and 17:56, to get to within one. . . . Spokane F Mitch Wahl got his 30th goal. . . . The loser point lifted the Blazers into seventh place in the Western Conference and means they will meet the Giants in the first round. D Travis Hamonic scored his first goal for Brandon since being acquired from the Moose Jaw Warriors on Jan. 10. . . . In Everett, G Thomas Heemskerk stopped 25 shots to lead the Silvertips to a 5-0 victory over the Chilliwack Bruins. . . . Heemskerk has four shutouts this season and seven in his career. . . . The victory provides Everett with a chance to win the Western Conference pennant. The Silvertips play in Spokane on Sunday and need one point to finish ahead of the Tri-City Americans. Everett and Tri-City, which is finished, are tied, but the Americans hold the tiebreaker. . . . Everett got two goals from F Shane Harper, giving him 42 this season and 100 for his career, while F Chris Langkow had a goal, his 21st, and three assists. . . .
