Troy Gamble's son killed in Afghanistan

The WHL family — indeed, all of the hockey world — is in mourning following the death of Garrett W. Gamble, the son of former WHL goaltender Troy Gamble.
Garrett died while serving with the U.S. Marines in Afghanistan. The Houston Chronicle has more right here.
Troy Gamble played for the Medicine Hat Tigers and Spokane Chiefs (1984-88). He was the Western Conference’s goaltender of the year for 1987-88.
