The New York Islanders have dumped Ryan Jankowski, who was there assistant general manager and head scout. There’s more right here.

Katie Strang of Newsday reports that the Islanders also have dumped the legendary Bryan Trottier, who had been their executive director of player development. According to Strong: “The Islanders are working on finding him a different role within the organization.”
