From Rich Hammond at the L.A. Kings insider blog:
"According to the Kings, prospect Brayden Schenn suffered a knee injury during a training session in Canada. Schenn is headed to Los Angeles for an MRI tomorrow, and at the moment there is no timetable for his return to the ice. Schenn recently completed training camp with his junior team, the Brandon Wheat Kings, but it’s unknown whether he was hurt on or off the ice."

D Tyson Barrie of the Kelowna Rockets will miss up to six weeks with a partially torn right hamstring. Barrie was named the WHL's top defenceman last season. He was injured in a scrimmage late last week. He hopes to be ready for the Avs' main camp, but definitely will miss the rookie camp.
