The Everett Silvertips have signed assistant coach Mitch Love to a two-year contract extension. Love played in Everett in the franchise’s first season (2003-04) and was the team captain the following season. He began his coaching career last season in Everett. . . . The Silvertips’ coaching staff will be unchanged, with Love joining head coach Mark Ferner and assistant coach Chris Hartsburg.
