The SJHL’s Kindersley Klippers need to improve their finances or their future could be in doubt. That’s the message from team president Garnet Gramlich, who has said the team is about $150,000 in debt. . . . Kyle Jahns of the Kindersley Clarion has more right here. . . . The Klippers are the second SJHL team since January to sound the alarm. In January, Larry Tribiger, the president of the Weyburn Red Wings, said his club would be about $200,000 in the hole if attendance didn’t improve. "This isn't a case of the team that cried wolf,” he told CBC News. “This is a serious, multi-faceted financial crisis that could mean the end of the Red Wings."

F Jansen Harkins of the Prince George Cougars has reached 100 career points in 130 games. That is second-fastest in Prince George history, behind only F Blair Betts, who did it in 111 games. . . . F Nick Drazenovic and F Troy Bourke are the only other Prince George skaters to reach 100 points as 17-year-old players. . . .
The Regina Pats may have F Adam Brooks back in their lineup tonight against the visiting Saskatoon Blades. He has been out with a knee injury since Jan. 24, meaning he has missed eight games. Brooks, 18, has 43 points, including 20 goals, in 48 games. . . . The Pats have won 12 straight games from the Blades.
