Two goaltenders got changes of scenery on Thursday.
The Kamloops Blazers dealt G Jon Groenheyde, 19, to the Edmonton Oil Kings in exchange for G Cam Lanigan, 18.
Groenheyde, from Surrey, B.C., went 16-30-4 since joining the Blazers and playing one game in 2007-08. This season, he is 1-5-1 with a 3.67 GAA and a .873 save percentage.
The Oil Kings are headed to Prince George for a Friday-Saturday doubleheader and Groenheyde will join them there.
Lanigan, a sixth-round pick in the 2007 bantam draft, was in his third season with the Oil Kings. This season, he was 4-8-1, 3.73, .866 in 15 appearances. In the previous two seasons, he went 13-23-2-4 with a 4.08 GAA.
Lanigan, from Calgary, will join the Blazers in his hometown as they play the Hitmen there Friday.
