THE MacBETH REPORT:
G Tyler Plante (Brandon, 2003-07) signed a contract for the rest of this season with Mora (Sweden, Allsvenskan) after being placed on unconditional waivers by the Florida Panthers. Plante had a 3.14 GAA and a .889 save percentage in two games with the San Antonio Rampage (AHL) and a 2.65 GAA and a .896 save percentage in four games with the Cincinnati Cyclones (ECHL) this season.

D Morgan Rielly of the Moose Jaw Warriors underwent knee surgery on Thursday in Vancouver. Rielly is from Vancouver. He suffered a torn ACL on Nov. 6, and might not play again this season. (Although before the surgery, his father, Andy, told Mike G. Morreale of NHL.com, “At this point, we are confident that he will be 100 percent by mid-April. The doctor has not ruled out a return as early as mid- to late-March but that will be a decision made at the time.")

“Surgery was a success. Thanks for all the support everyone, means a lot.”
