Brian Dueck is an actor from Swift Current who would love to be in the movie based on the book Sudden Death: The Incredible Saga of the 1986 Swift Current Broncos. But that may not happen because, at this point, it is unlikely that filming will be done in Saskatchewan.

Cheek scored twice, at 6:48 and 9:52 of the third, giving him 16. . . . F Jaedon Descheneau had a goal and an assist for the Ice. . . . The Tigers hold down the Eastern Conference’s final playoff spot; they now are three points ahead of the Ice. . . .
In Swift Current, G Eetu Laurikainen stopped 38 shots and F Adam Lowry scored twice as the Broncos dumped the Edmonton Oil Kings, 3-1. . . . Edmonton had won its previous 11 games. . . . Lowry opened the scoring at 4:54 of the first period and closed it, on the PP, 55 seconds into the third. He’s got 36 goals. . . . D Reece Scarlett had three assists for the Broncos. . . .
