Change in Red Deer?

According to TSN, Brent Sutter is leaving the Red Deer Rebels and is expected to become head coach of the NHL's New Jersey Devils. TSN reports that a news conference will be held in Red Deer on Thursday at which Sutter will step down as GM and head coach. He also owns the WHL franchise. TSN also reports that Brian Sutter will take over as head coach of the Rebels.

This also will leave Hockey Canada with a hole to fill as Brent Sutter is head coach of the junior team that is to play an eight-game series against a Russian team later this summer.
