More Tuesday . . .

There now is a second offer on the table for the Kamloops Blazers. What was an expression of interest last week turned into an offer over the weekend.

Rich Kromm seems to be the favourite to be named the next head coach of the Portland Winter Hawks. A former Calgary Hitmen head coach who played for the Winter Hawks, he now is head coach of the junior B Summerland Sting, a team that is operated by the Okanagan Hockey School and plays in the Kootenay International junior league.

The Kootenay Ice signed Mark Holick as head coach and now is looking for an assistant coach. That position has interested veteran NHL defenceman Jon Klemm, who has asked about it.

More later . . .
