Bernhardt on the move
C Justin Bernhardt, 19, a healthy scratch for two of the Kelowna Rockets’ last three games, is on the move. The Prince Albert Raiders have acquired the Yorkton, Sask., native for a 2009 fourth-round bantam draft pick that will be upgraded to a third-rounder if he is on the Kelowna roster after the 20-year-old cutdown date in October 2008. . . . Bernhardt has 101 points in 182 regular-season games. He was acquired by the Rockets from the Regina Pats in a six-player swap last season. This season, in 13 games, he had eight points, including four goals. . . . Bernhardt is expected to be in the Raiders’ lineup Sunday when they play host to the Edmonton Oil Kings.
