In Calgary, C Brendan Rowinski scored one goal and set up another as the Hitmen dumped the Medicine Hat Tigers, 2-1. . . . Rowinski’s third goal of the season, at 12:05 of the third period, broke a 1-1 tie. He fell into the crease and took G Ryan Holfeld and the puck into the net with him. . . . Rowinski set up Calgary’s other goal by winning a faceoff and getting the puck to D Keith Seabrook, who scored his second goal of the season. . . . D Trevor Glass had given the Tigers a 1-0 lead at 19:53 of the first period. . . . The victory sent Calgary (23-11-1-2) into the Christmas break atop the Eastern Conference, one point up on the Lethbridge Hurricanes. . . .
