A little something extra for late on a Tuesday night . . . or early on a Wednesday morning, depending on whether you’re a West Coast regular or a visitor from Taiwan. . . .
The above photo was taken Friday at Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver and shows, left to right, Dan Russell (SportsTalk/Shaw TV), Dave Sheldon (Vancouver Giants/AM650), Steve Ewen (Vancouver Province), Doyle Potenteau (Kelowna Daily Courier) and Bill Wilms (Shaw TV). . . . Regan Bartel (Kelowna Rockets/AM1150) is not in the picture. He couldn’t figure out how to operate the remote option on the camera so took the photo himself. . . . Or perhaps it was a situation like when you’re at the family reunion and someone wants to take a group photo and the distant cousin whom nobody likes is asked to do the honours. . . . You’re right. None of these gents should quit their day jobs. . . . And I don’t think the show of fists indicate a desire by any of them to move into MMA.
