WHOOPS!
Perhaps Tavares didn’t break Lee’s record. It sounds as though Tavares may be a wee bit short. Sports historian and author Jim McAuley has told Wayne Scanlan of the Ottawa Citizen that his research shows that Lee finished with 216 goals.
Scanlan’s story is right here.
