Habscheid to Chilliwack

Marc Habscheid is back in the coaching game.
Habscheid, who last coached in the WHL in 2003-04, will be introduced as head coach of the Chilliwack Bruins on Wednesday.
Habscheid left the Kelowna Rockets after they won the 2004 Memorial Cup as the host team. He spent some time as head coach of Canada's national team and then joined the coaching staff of the NHL's Boston Bruins, under head coach Dave Lewis. They were fired in June 2007.
In Chilliwack, Habscheid will replace Jim Hiller, who was fired after the 2008-09 season.
Habscheid's arrival in Chilliwack means that every team in the B.C. Division has a head coach with ties to the Kamloops Blazers -- except the Kamloops Blazers.
Habscheid played and coached with the Blazers.
Dean Clark, the new head coach of the Prince George Cougars, played and coached in Kamloops.
Don Hay, the head coach of the Vancouver Giants, is a former Blazers' coach.
Ryan Huska, the head coach of the Rockets, played with the Blazers.
Only Barry Smith, who has completed one season as the Blazers' head coach, doesn't have such ties to Kamloops.
