F Brendan Shinnimin of the Tri-City Americans will be in the lineup Tuesday night for Game 3 of the WHL final in Kennewick, Wash. The Calgary Hitmen carry a 2-0 lead into that game. . . . Shinnimin was ejected in the second period of Game 2 on Saturday for a hit from behind on Calgary F Brandon Kozun. Shinnimin was hit with a major and game misconduct on the play.

Bob Rouse won't be returning to the Chilliwack Bruins. GM/head coach Marc Habscheid revealed Monday that Rouse won't be back as assistant GM/assistant coach. "We respect Bob's decision," Habscheid said in a press release, indicating that it was Rouse's decision. Habscheid said the search for a replacement "will begin immediately." . . . Rouse spent three seasons on the Bruins' coaching staff. . . . Dave Archibald and Peter Hay remain with the Bruins as assistant coaches.

The OHL’s Kingston Frontenacs have decided not to renew the contract of assistant coach Tony Cimellaro. . . . Head coach Doug Gilmour and assistant coach Darren Keily will return.

Don Chesney, a familiar face in Saskachewan hockey circles, has signed a three-year deal as GM of the SJHL’s Yorkton Terriers. He spent the last two seasons as a scout for the MJHL’s Waywayseecappo Wolverines. Chesney also will serve as the Terriers’ director of marketing. . . . Head coach Trent Cassan adds the title of associate GM to his portfolio, while assistant coach Danny McKay will return.

Ray Delia has resigned as president and general manager of the Central league’s Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. He will remain with the franchise as an advisor. Delia, who held his position for the last two seasons, was the CHL’s executive of the year for 2008-09.

The Everett Silvertips have extended the contract of Scott Scoville, the team’s director of player development. The Silvertips didn’t release any terms of the deal, so Scoville may be signed through 2020-21. Or maybe not. . . . Scoville has been with the franchise since its inception prior to the 2003-04 season.
