DEG Metro Stars Dusseldorf (Germany DEL) announced that F Brad Tutschek (Medicine Hat, Edmonton/Kootenay, Seattle, 1996-2001) has ended his career due to continuing problems with his left shoulder. He had one assist in 35 games for the Metro Stars this season.

Bruno Bragagnolo, a long-time head coach with the Chicago Young Americans’ program, heads up a group that has purchased the Soo Eagles of the Northern Ontarior junior league. Bragagnolo, 54, will become the Eagles’ general manager and head coach. . . . His group purchased the franchise from Paul Theriault.
