Thursday's over . . .

According to the Everett Silvertips, D Zack Dailey is resting at home after being injured in a 4-0 victory over the visiting Spokane Chiefs on Wednesday. After being hit by Spokane D Justin Falk, Dailey was stretchered from the ice and taken to Providence Everett Medical Center. . . . According to the Silvertips, “While it is still too early to pinpoint any type of return, Dailey has been awake and responsive and after rest and recuperation will be eager to rejoin his teammates.” . . . Falk received a charging major and game misconduct on the play; however, the league decided Thursday that it was a clean check and the major and game misconduct were rescinded. . . .

Interesting note from Andy Kemper over at After The Whistle: “All of Kyle Beach's five goals have come on the power play. In fact, Everett has scored 16 goals on the year — 11 on the PP, one shorthanded and only four at even strength. . . . Beach also leads the WHL in penalty minutes with 39. If he plays all season at this pace, he'd wind up the season with 45 goals, 44 assists, 89 points and 562 PIMs.” . . . A reader points out that Beach's projected totals actually are 72 goals, 57 assists and 129 points. . . .

The Moose Jaw Warriors have assigned D Jock Sutter, 19, to the SJHL’s Yorkton Terriers. He played 48 games with the Warriors last season but had gotten into only one of their first three this season.
