Former WHLer facing charges

An RCMP press release:
ALBERTA - On 2010-10-31 at approximately 07:30 hours a 24-year-old female was struck and killed while walking west ward on Hwy 901 near Range Road 245 by a pickup truck. The location is near the west side of Siksika First Nation.
The 24-year-old female is identified as Candace Dixon from Calgary.
A 26-year-old male has been charged for impaired driving causing death and refusal. He is identified as Robin Leslie Bigsnake. His next court appearance will be November 25th at Siksika Provincial Court. Mr. Bigsnake is from Siksika First Nation.

Robin Bigsnake (or Big Snake) split three WHL seasons between the Vancouver Giants, Moose Jaw Warriors and Portland Winterhawks. He had 16 points and 225 penalty minutes in 66 games with the Giants in 2001-02. He played 19 games with the Giants and 18 with the Warriors in 2002-03, totaling eight points and 90 penalty minutes. In 2003-04, he had 24 points and 230 penalty minutes with the Winterhawks.
In 2004-05, he was with Portland for two games before moving on to the OHL’s Owen Sound Attack.
He turned pro the following season and had stints in the United, American, Central and International leagues.
