Am I red-faced today, or what?
It seems the Seattle Thunderbirds made a goaltending change during the third period of their 5-2 loss to the Blazers in Kamloops on Wednesday night and I slept right through it.
Seriously . . . my game story indicated that Calvin Pickard went the distance for Seattle, and it turns out he didn't.
Pickard was relieved by Jacob DeSerres with 7:37 left to play in the third period.
Pickard, who took the loss, stopped 24 of the 28 shots he faced, while DeSerres was beaten once on eight shots.
