Friday . . .

There’s more right here on the NAHL, the Albert Lea Thunder and the situation involving parents who claim to have paid so their sons would have spots, and playing time, with the team.

An interesting note from Dan Plaster, the Regina Pats’ director of communications:
“Just a few years ago, it was the big players who dominated the WHL top 10 scorers, but in 2009-10 that is not the case. (Going into Friday’s games), just two of the 11 players in the top 10 -- Brayden Schenn and Igor Revenko, both of whom are 6-foot-0 -- are 6-foot-0; the remainder are shorter than that. The remainder are Brandon Kozun, 5-9; Brendan Shinnimin, 5-10; Jordan Eberle, 5-10; Jordan Weal, 5-9; Willie Coetzee, 5-10; Bretton Cameron, 5-11; Craig Cunningham, 5-10; Cody Eakin, 5-11; and, Matt Calvert, 5-10.
